Oracle Cloud Account Onboarding Process
The following steps demonstrate the account onboarding process for OCI
1. Login to the OCI console.
2. Click on Identity & Security tab.

3. Click on Domains tab under Identity.

4. Click on Create domain or select respective Domain if already created, then navigate to User Management and Click on Create.


5. Fill in the necessary details and click on Create.

6. Once the User is created, create Group from the same User Management section.

7. Now Assign User to the Group.
7.1 Select the User, navigate to Groups and Click on Assign User to Group

7.2 Select respective group and click on Assign User.

8. Create the Policy with below permissions and Apply on Group where deployment user should be member.
Allow group <Group Name> to manage instance-family in tenancy
Allow group <Group Name> to read app-catalog-listing in tenancy
Allow group <Group Name> to manage volume-family in tenancy
Allow group <Group Name> to use virtual-network-family in tenancy
Allow group <Group Name> to read all-resources in tenancy
Allow group <Group Name> to manage compute-image-capability-schema in tenancy
8.1 Click on Policies tab under Identity.

8.2 Click on Create Policy, add necessary details and click on Create



9. Go back to User management and select User.

10. Navigate to API Keys tab and Click on Add API Key.

11. Select Generate API Key Pair.

12. Click on Download Private Key and Add.

13. Click on the View Configuration file.

14. Note down the details from the file.

15. Login on to Matilda Rehost Tool using credentials
• Navigate to Cloud Profiles in the lefthand side, click on “Add” Button on righthand side to create new profile
• Choose Desired Target Cloud Platform – OCI and update details which are gathered using this document upper section.




16. Once Network resources or provisioned or Exists, Navigate to Replication Settings in lefthand side, choose “Add” Choose to create new Replication Settings as OCI and update the respective details and click on Save button at the bottom.



17. Once Network resources or provisioned or Exists, Navigate to Launch Settings in lefthand side, choose “Add” Choose to create Launch Settings as OCI and update the respective details and click on Save button at the bottom.



18. Start using the OCI profile for selected servers / applications.
Goto the Settings Tab, Cloud Configuration Fill Cloud Profile, Replication Settings, Launch Settings with Target Cloud as OCI and Save Settings.
